Lynda La Plante CBE is the only UK female crime writer, to have adapted and produced TV series, based on her novels.
She is also a RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art) trained actress, who has toured with the RSC (Royal Shakespeare Company), giving her the experience and ability to cast her television work.
